FREE INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS - If you're paying $0.01 or more for ISP service, you're paying too much!

Netzero - Java-based software, ad banner, oldest Free ISP

Juno - Propiatary software, free e-mail provider. Also free ISP, but wants to move free users over to pay.

Freelane - Excite's newer model free ISP. Formerly a 1stup client, but with 1stup's death, is now powered by a more powerful client. Has 3 ad bars - supposedly spyware!

ePrompter - This freeware program will run in the system tray in Windows and will perodically check all of your e-mail accounts to let you know if you have new mail waiting.
ICQ - ICQ is a popular Internet chat utility. Has over 78 million users.
AOL Instant Messenger - This program allows you to be Instant Message (IM) other AOL's users, without being signed onto AOL.
Yahoo! Messenger - Yet another Internet Messenging program.
Hideit! - This software will allow you to hide the WorldSpy login screen from view after you make your connection.
ZoneAlarm - A firewall program that protects your computer from unauthorized access via the net.
WinZip! - This software is necessary to expand files that you download from the Internet.
Real Player - This software allows you to play RealAudio and RealVideo clips.
GetRight - This is a download enhancer. Helps manage and schedule downloads.
Quicktime - This is required to play certain movies and view certain webpages.
Winamp - Winamp allows you to play MP3 files. MP3's is a compressed music file with extrodanary quality. Find out more about MP3's here.

Eremover - Checks POP3 accounts for mail, which can be deleted off of the server.

mIRC - Chat client for IRC (Internet Relay Chat). Shareware, but worth the cost.You can get a copy here.

Menu Snap -> This will alphabetize the programs on your start menu. Very handy if you install a lot of programs and do not wish to scroll down.
IE 5 - The best Internet browser available. You can also get it here.
Netscape
- Another Internet browser. Netscape needs to get its act together and update their software. This browser still can't properly display newer sites, including this one

Weatherbug - Sits in your systray, and displays the current temperature. When double clicked on, can show you local radar screen and the forecast for the next few days.
