Gameworld -> A Discussion forum for gaming on all levels - console, PC, or Macintosh. Any game, for any system. Cheats, news, tips, tricks, walkthroughs, demos, codes, emulation and more are all fair game here. Need help with a game? Ask away, we just might have the answer for you!

Currently averaging 200-300 posts/month on average, Gameworld is the place to go for your gaming needs. We feature interactive polls, game reviews (new!), news, and much more! We're a friendly bunch of folk who love to discuss gaming of the past, present, and future. We welcome you to post anything you would like to contribute to the group, even if you're stuck on a particular level in a particular game. We also feature an extensive bookmark listing of gaming sites on a variety of games and issues, and share quality files in our files area.

We restrict memberships to keep known spammers out, but this has allowed us to have a spam-free environment to discuss gaming. Everything from the latest and greatest games coming out for PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube, to the latest battle over censorship in the courts, an interesting topic is not far away. Why not join us today?

Gameworld also has a backup list at Freelists. Fill out the top form to join it, but be warned it is just the backup

Internet-l -> The Internet Mailing List discusses a wide range of topics that include, but are not limited to: ISP's (free and pay), Internet mergers, proper Netiquette, and general problems that you might have while using the Internet

See the web site or the archive at eScribe for more information. This is now (11-20-2002) the shared files and polls area for the list. We've moved the discussion list to Freelists. Click here to subscribe to it or use the form below (you do not need to join the Yahoo! Group to be a member of Internet-L, however if you don't you will not be able to participate in the polls or access shared files)

Top form is for the discussion group at Freelists, the bottom form is for the Yahoo! Group where the shared files and polls are located. Join both to get the full experience!

Common List Rules

  1. No HTML or RTF formatted messages - not everyone's mail client can read this and as such it is not permitted
  2. Do not send messages to the list asking for me or any of my co-moderators to remove you. It will not be done unless you are legitamately trying to get off and it isn't working. In that case, send me an e-mail and tell me what you are doing to try to get off. You wouldn't believe the many common errors people make when trying to get off (don't send the e-mail correctly, or address it wrong, or send the wrong command). Instructions are included at the bottom of each message that tell you how to get off the list. This is done for your conveniece.
  3. Except where indicated otherwise (this is found in the list intro message), no attachments are permitted. Viruses can be spread easily and I will not allow my list members to get infected. Send files to be shared to the Files area and pictures to the Photos area.
  4. If you do not see your post, it means it came to me and the moderators for approval. Just because it doesn't arrive immediately does not mean it won't appear, just wait for us to approve it. If we approve it, it will be passed on. If you don't see your post, it was rejected by us, in all likelihood because you violated one of the list rules. Please do not write to us and demand it be passed on. If we reject it, then it doesn't go. But if you're curious as to why it was rejected so you can be aware next time, please feel free to ask. We'll be happy to help.
  5. Trim all posts to include only the relevant information.
